Hitler's Bomb - The Secret History of German Nuclear Weapons Tests
Rainer Karlsch
I translated this book to English because this information was only in German.
In 1944/45, under the supervision of the SS, German scientists tested nuclear bombs on Rügen and in Thuringia. Several hundred prisoners of war and prisoners were killed. After years of research, Berlin historian Rainer Karlsch has unraveled one of the greatest mysteries of the Third Reich. In addition to evidence of the nuclear weapons tests, he also found a draft for a plutonium bomb patent from 1941 and discovered the first functioning German nuclear reactor in the outskirts of Berlin.
